Things to Do Before Graduation

Want to know how to make the most out of your APU experience? We put together a list
of things APU students must do before graduating, from playing an intramural sport
to traveling across the globe on a mission trip. Whether you are starting your freshman
year or are heading into your final semester as a senior, this list can help you have
fun and create lasting memories while taking advantage of what Azusa and the surrounding
communities have to offer.
- Cheer on a team with The Zu
- Attend Les Femmes
- Take a class that is not in your major
- Go to Midnight Madness
- And Midnight Breakfast
- Spend the day at Disneyland
- Dance like nobody’s watching at GIG
- Join a club
- Go to every chapel option offered at least once
- Play an intramural sport
- Attend an art opening
- Have lunch with one of your professors
- Hike to the Hollywood sign
- People watch on Hollywood Boulevard
- See the stars at Griffith Observatory
- Go to Outdoor Kaleo and stay for the baptisms
- Eat at every dining option in Citrus Crossing
- Go on a midnight run to Donut Man
- Sing the APU fight song
- Swim in every pool in campus housing
- Serve the community of Azusa by volunteering
- Walk around the gardens at Huntington Library
- Take a day trip to the beach
- Join a D-Group
- Meet the dean of your school
- Serve through a Mexico Outreach trip
- Or go on a mission trip
- Study Abroad
- Go to a concert on campus
- Ride a water slide at Raging Waters
- Or a roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain
- Eat at La Tolteca
- Take a selfie with the Cougar mascot
- Go on an Outdoor Adventure
- Watch an APU Theater production
- Participate in a RezLife or Commuter event
- Explore downtown Glendora and/or Claremont
- Hear amazing voices at Final Cut
- Head to the mountains during winter
- Attend the Last Bash
- Learn APU's Alma Mater
- Join your major's academic honor society
- Hike to Bridge to Nowhere (and bungee off it)
- Attend Alumni Initiation and receive your APU Alumni license plate
- Get your diploma!
