Azusa Pacific University’s student films screen at festivals at home and abroad and are often celebrated as top award winners.
Our student films have impressed at major events like the Festival of Media Arts, hosted each year by the Broadcast Education Association, a consortium that includes more than 1,600 professors who represent more than 275 colleges and universities. Films by APU students have placed in the top tier every year since 2005, and won Best of Festival twice.
Other festivals that APU films have won at include: Damah Film Festival, Rogue Independent Film Festival, Reel Spirituality/LAFSC Film Festival, Paste Magazine’s Rockin’ Reel Film Festival, and the International Christian Visual Media Crown Awards.
