Leung School of Accounting

Leading the Way in Accounting Excellence

The LP and Timothy Leung School of Accounting prepares stand-out accountants of character to meet the growing needs of the field, offering a wealth of opportunity and resource through our over 8 million endowment from the Leung family.

We provide significant scholarships of up to $15,000 a year, summer internship experiences, valuable networking opportunities at our annual “Meet the Firms event”, and job placements well before graduation. Students also take advantage of our Master of Professional Accountancy (MAcc) program, which results in a master’s degree and ability to sit for a CPA exam—completed in just one additional year while simaltaneously working for their firm.

As our students develop expertise in their field, we also believe in growing faith and character. Every year, our students demonstrate a profound dedication to service and community through our Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, which allows them to prepare tax returns for those in need. It is our mission to be a premier Christian accounting school, recognized as a thought leader on accounting character and competence to reflect the life of Christ and shine the light of Truth.

Accounting Programs Expand

A gift of more than $8 million from the Leung family allowed APU to broaden its accounting programs and establish the LP and Timothy Leung School of Accounting, housed in APU’s School of Business and Management, giving the accounting program the resources needed to expand its emphasis on strong academics, practical training, and teaching ethics.
