Location
Cougar DomeThe Office of Campus Life assists undergraduate student clubs and organizations in a variety of ways, including directing the club/organization chartering process, providing leadership training, allocating club/organization funds, and assisting in the progress and growth of all clubs/organizations. Students who wish to have a new club chartered must submit the appropriate documents to the Office of Campus Life.
The office also assists clubs/organizations with the following:
- Programming ideas
- Obtaining facility request forms and requesting spaces on campus
- Understanding university policies and procedures
- Fostering leadership and organizational development
- Finding funding sources
- Completing forms for clubs, organizations, events, and funding
Each semester, a Clubs and Organizations Fair takes place to provide registered clubs/organizations the opportunity for on-campus visibility and membership recruitment.
The Office of Campus Life also provides additional funds to registered clubs/organizations for events open to all APU students based upon the approval of the President’s Council. Funding is allocated primarily to programs that will serve the greatest amount of students, enhance campus life, and promote club membership.

Azusa Pacific Dance Team
The Azusa Pacific Dance Team is a competitive and performance spirit team for Azusa Pacific University. Performances include football and basketball halftimes and other school-related events. Competitive team members compete at collegiate dance competitions at a Division II/III level.

The Marquee
The Marquee is an on-campus theater club open to all students regardless of major. The group spreads deep appreciation for the arts and encourages students to create art.

Variety for One (VFO)
Members of this hip-hop ministry team perform around Azusa and on campus. We host workshops for the APU community and an annual showcase every semester. We welcome all styles of dance and all ranges of dance experience. You don’t need prior training to join our team or attend our free, open practice workshops. Zukeepers Improv
Zukeepers Improve hosts free monthly shows in Seven Palms, where a bunch of silly people do a bunch of silly things and hopefully bring you laughter throughout the school year.
Muse Literature Collective
Muse Literature Collective is a book and poetry club. It is a space for all students to come together and rediscover their love for recreational reading and creative writing. We hope to serve a community of creatives that uplifts student voices and the love of literature in all forms.

Catholic Club
The Catholic Club provides community and support for all Catholic students at APU, proclaiming God’s love for all His people. Though our mission includes providing community and support for Catholic students at APU, our events are open to all APU students.
Third Culture Kids (TCKs)
This club is for TCKs, international students, and local students interested in learning about other cultures. This gathering provides fellowship and camaraderie for those from places and cultures outside the United States, and connects members who have similar travel experiences. TCK is open to all APU students.
Veterans Club
APU’s Veterans Club provides a built-in support network for veterans and service members transitioning into academic life. The club offers a number of benefits, including social meetings and community service opportunities.
Azusa Coastal Clean-Up
Azusa Coastal Clean-Up is dedicated to helping clean our local ocean and coastal environments. Through regular clean-up events and community engagement, we help students take action toward cleaner beach environments. All students are welcome.
Club Social Work
This club connects social work students, faculty, and the surrounding community through meetings, events, and outreach days to promote the social work profession and its values. Although events target social work students, anyone is welcome to join.

Boundless Brilliance
Boundless Brilliance is a club that empowers students to embrace their brilliance and realize a future in STEM leadership. There are three divisions that you can choose from: Development, Outreach, and Presentations. In Development, participants organize fundraisers, keep track of research materials from presentations, and design flyers or social media posts. Outreach contacts schools, excites them about the mission of Boundless Brilliance, schedules presentations, and maintains a positive relationship with the schools. The Presentation team focuses on visiting elementary schools to provide STEM experiments and activities that empower students.

National Association for Music Education
Azusa Pacific University’s NAfME develops the character of its members by integrating leadership, service, connection, and fellowship into music education. We provide music education majors with the knowledge and preparation to form collegial relationships in and outside of the classroom. We create a welcoming environment where members receive ample information on learning opportunities and outreach events. With these foundations, we equip rising professionals with the tools to change the face of music education for the next generation of musicians.

Pre-Law Society
The APU Pre-Law Society draws students who are passionate about legal studies and preparation for law school. We invite students from all majors with an interest in law school and/or legal studies to join in support of one another. We help prepare students for the LSAT and law school admission, assist them with social and legal issues and networking, and provide a community that uplifts.
Pre-Dental Club
The Pre-Dental Club supports students of all majors who are pursuing or considering careers in dentistry, dental hygiene, and dental assisting. This supportive environment connects like-minded peers, offers valuable insights into the dental field, and promotes networking with APU alumni, dental professionals, and organizations dedicated to advancing dental education and practice.
Psychology Club
This club fosters community within the Department of Psychology and connects classroom learning with our lives.
Robotics Club
Robotics Club gives all students the opportunity to learn new skills such as 3D printing, computer-aided design, soldering, and electronics, all while working together on larger robotics projects. We are open to all majors and will teach you everything you need to know!
Society of Women Engineers
The Society of Women Engineers (SWE) is a supportive community for women in STEM. We host workshops and socials and offer networking and career opportunities. SWE is about building connections, growing skills, and having fun while pursuing your goals.
Student Nurses of Azusa Pacific (SNAP)
SNAP develops professional nurse leaders and fosters community among School of Nursing students, faculty, and staff.

Blacksmithing Club
The Blacksmithing Club meets weekly to explore the art and practice of metalworking through guided, skill-building projects. Club members gain hands-on experience learning basic and advanced techniques under the supervision of an experienced club advisor.

Criminal Justice Association
The Criminal Justice Association is a community for students majoring in criminal justice to connect, learn, and explore the field together. We offer opportunities for professional development, experiential learning, and deeper engagement with key areas of the justice system.
Alpha Epsilon Delta (Health Preprofessional Honor Society)
Alpha Epsilon Delta is a health preprofessional honor society dedicated to encouraging and recognizing excellence in preprofessional health scholarship. Our society welcomes all students engaged in the pursuit of any healthcare profession, offers a forum for students with common interests, provides opportunities such as scholarships, and extends a program of service to benefit students and our community.

Kappa Iota Nu (Kinesiology Honors Society)
Kappa Iota Nu (KIN) is the Department of Kinesiology’s honor society. KIN recognizes and builds community around the department’s top-performing students. This club provides a variety of opportunities to support a student’s academic journey through membership perks such as access to speakers, study aids, community with like-minded students, and kinesiology-based service projects.

There’s also an optional Biological Honors Society, which offers expanded research opportunities and adds a prestigious distinction.

We are a group of women who love to play and compete in volleyball. We compete against other DII/DIII club teams such as San Diego State University, University of California, Santa Barbara, Cal Poly Pomona, and many more. We also compete in the club volleyball championships in April. We hold open gyms and tryouts at the beginning of each semester.

APU Running Club
The APU Running Club offers a welcoming and motivating environment for students of varying athletic abilities to come run together, build community, and invest in their physical, emotional, and spiritual health through exercise.
Outdoor Adventures
Outdoor Adventures (OA) gives students opportunities to engage in outdoor activities such as day trips, weekend trips, and special events including rock climbing, backpacking, bike tours, kayaking, canyoneering, geocaching, or canoeing. OA also offers environmental education, helps build community, and shines light on the beautiful world God created. No experience or ability is necessary for these trips. Transportation, food, equipment, and instructional leaders are provided. Through these adventures, the OA staff hope each participant finds a tangible example of God’s goodness and love.
Weightlifting Club
The Weightlifting Club empowers students and faculty to engage in physical activity for mental, physical, and spiritual health. Meetings consist of exercise programs provided by certified personal trainers, encouraging a safe and positive environment for all fitness levels.

Forms
Interested in Creating a New Club?
- At least 7 members who are full-time (12 units) undergraduate students
- A current full-time faculty or staff advisor
- Have a clearly stated mission and purpose that is consistent with the university’s mission and purpose
- A current constitution and bylaws approved by the Office of Campus Life
- Organizations cannot have a national affiliation
- Organizations that have a spiritual formation component will be vetted by Spiritual Life for approval
- Club sports must be vetted by APU’s Office of the General Counsel for approval
- Set up a meeting with the Program Specialist for clubs and organizations by emailing clubsandorgs@apu.edu
- Complete the club application and club advisor form (see below)
- Check for an email from the Program Specialist for clubs and organizations containing an invite to a President’s Council meeting for the final step of approval
Existing Clubs
In order to remain an active club/organization on campus for the next academic year, every club/organization must complete the Club Continuation Form and Community Service Reflection Form (see below). You must show and maintain good standing with the Office of Campus Life by completing yearly requirements, and submit the forms to the Office of Campus Life. The current president, new president, and advisor will receive a response via email.
