The Student Union is a community space located in the Cougar Dome that provides APU students a place to gather, study, and relax on campus. Stop by and play a game of ping pong with a friend or take advantage of the computer stations to work on a class project. The Student Union also houses a number of student resources and offices, including the Office of Commuter Life and the Office of Campus Life.

- Commuter services: The Office of Commuter Life provides complimentary snacks and coffee, a refrigerator, microwave, and more amenities for commuter students to use

Reservation Process
Reserving parties requesting the use of the Student Union must submit a request at least two weeks prior to the event.
On Campus (Internal)
You may request the use of the Student Union through submission of an online request via 25Live. 25Live can be accessed at events.apu.edu. Please contact Event Services at eventservices@apu.edu or (626) 815-6016 if you have any questions.
Off Campus (External)
You may request the use of the Student Union by contacting Event Services at eventservices@apu.edu or (626) 815-6016.
Hours of Operation
The Student Union management staff has the discretion of closing the Union for certain days prior to and after holidays.

Summer
The Cougar Dome is closed during the summer months. The Office of Commuter Life, which is located in the Cougar Dome, can still be accessed by entering the northside doors of the building. The office is open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. during the summer.

Winter and Midsemester Breaks
The Cougar Dome is closed during the university’s winter and midsemester breaks. The Office of Commuter Life can still be accessed by entering the northside doors of the Cougar Dome when the university is open. The hours of operation are 8 a.m.-5 p.m.
