Bringing STEM to Life

The Bringing STEM to Life program offers minigrants to assist teachers of STEM subjects throughout Los Angeles County. The program is sponsored by the Helen and Will Webster Foundation and Azusa Pacific University.

Individual grants range from $250-$900; group grants are available for up to $1,800 (groups of 2), $2,700 (groups of 3), and $3,600 (groups of 4).

To support teachers providing instruction, grants will be offered for any one or combination of the following four categories:

  1. Classroom or student resources
  2. Professional development
  3. Teacher resources (software, cloud-based curriculum, and supplementary materials)
  4. Field trips (off-campus or virtual)

Eligibility

Eligible applicants must teach:

  • TK/PK-12th grades
  • At a charter, public, private, or parochial school
  • In Los Angeles County or in close proximity to APU’s High Desert or Murrieta regional campuses.
