Sponsored by the Helen and Will Webster Foundation and Azusa Pacific University, theKeeping History Aliveprogram offers mini-grants to assist teachers of history and social studies throughout
Los Angeles County.
Individual grants range from $250-$900; group grants are available for up to $1,800
(groups of 2), $2,700 (groups of 3), and $3,600 (groups of 4).
To support teachers providing instruction, grants will be offered for any one or combination
of the following four categories:
Classroom or student resources
Professional development
Teacher resources (software, cloud-based curriculum, and supplementary materials)
Field trips (off-campus or virtual)
Eligibility
Eligible applicants must teach:
TK/PK-12thgrades
At a charter, public, private, or parochial school
In Los Angeles County or in close proximity to APU’s High Desert or Murrieta regional
campuses.
