Support Services
Office of Credentials
The Office of Credentials is your point of contact for information about teaching, administrative, or service credential requirements to serve in California schools. A full range of services are available to assist you in meeting your credentialing goals, and Credential Analysts act as your liaison with the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Office of Student Placements
For teacher candidates, the Office of Student Placements is your go-to resource when you are engaged in field experience, applying to student teach, or completing your clinical practice. Staff seek out collaborative and diverse K-12 settings for field experiences and clinical practice opportunities while ensuring state and national standards are met.
Office of Alumni and Professional Services
School of Education alumni are making a difference in schools and learning communities around the country. The Office of Alumni and Professional Services provides these alumni and current students with job resources, networking opportunities, and ways to sustain their commitment to lifelong learning. The office also maintains a calendar of events, both at APU and outside organizations, for educators seeking professional development opportunities.
