Liberal Studies Major
The liberal studies major provides future teacher candidates planning to be elementary school teachers with a broad knowledge base, making it possible to teach subjects up to a basic ninth-grade level.
This program offers the following areas of study: Art, English, Human Development: School Psychology Concentration, Human Development: Special Education Concentration, Math, Music, Science, Social Science, and Spanish.
Liberal Studies Minor
Gain elementary subject-matter preparation along with practical field experience as you learn about the impact of culture on education and acquire the skills needed to serve in today’s educational world.
