Aisha Chen, PhD, was born and raised in Pennsylvania where she received her BS in Applied Mathematics. She then moved to Claremont, California where she earned her MS at Claremont Graduate University. She moved to Long Beach to pursue a joint PhD at California State University and Claremont Graduate University.
Aisha focuses her research on signal processing and machine learning related to Gait and Posture. She is passionate about assisting in the diagnostic and rehabilitation processes by evaluating data corresponding to movement. She has presented at conferences such as Biomedical Engineering Society and Gait and Clinical Movement Analysis Society. She also has a published paper in the Journal of Applied Biomechanics.
