Alina Bond Chan, a licensed clinical social worker. She has experience working with children, adolescents, and families in various settings, including community mental health and school-based social work. She has provided clinical supervision, education, and training to students, interns, and mental health staff. Alina has worked with organizations throughout Los Angeles and Orange County, delivering training on motivational interviewing, trauma-informed care, and evidence-based interventions for co-occurring disorders in mental health, substance use, and trauma. She holds a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. She is pursuing a PhD at Baylor University's Garland School of Social Work, focusing her research on trauma-informed education and strategies for teaching trauma-related content. Over the last ten years, she has taught in UCLA Extension’s Drug and Alcohol Counseling program and has been an adjunct professor in the MSW program at Azusa Pacific University, where she currently holds a full-time faculty position in the Department of Social Work.
