Angela Robles, EdD, has been affiliated with Azusa Pacific University since 2000. A former pitcher for the University of Notre Dame softball team and professional athlete in the Italian National League, she has coached at the NCAA and NAIA levels. Her international sports experience extends to coaching and leading sports clinics in China, Venezuela, and Mexico. In addition to her teaching role at APU, Robles has traveled the country, consulting with athletic teams and organizations, and introducing them to the CliftonStrengths inventory.
Her expertise has led to collaborations with prestigious sports entities, including the USA Olympic Team, Major League Baseball (MLB), and NCAA Division I teams such as Harvard, Notre Dame, USC, Arizona, and Washington, among others. Robles’ extensive knowledge in fostering team cohesion and developing leaders, combined with her background in sports, has enabled her to pioneer research on strengths-based athletics.
