Claire Fedoruk, DMA

Claire Fedoruk, DMA, is a scholar practitioner whose research is focused on vocal music of the Renaissance and 21^st century. Her passion is the intersection of scholarship and performance and its impact on those who practice both. Along with her performance career as a soprano, she has presented her work at multiple conferences, including the Oxford Round Table (Oxford, UK), Historical Performance: Theory, Practice, and Interdisciplinarity (Bloomington, IN), Representations of Early Music on Stage and Screen (Sheffield, UK), Performance Studies Network (Surrey, UK), and Music and the Moving Image (New York City). Fedoruk is published by Naxos Musicology International, and recently completed a Master of Science in Instructional Design and Technology at Cal State Fullerton (2025). She is a professor of musicology as Azusa Pacific University, where she teaches at the graduate and undergraduate levels, and can be heard on dozens of film soundtracks as a soloist or vocal collaborator, most recently Wicked: For Good and Minions and Monsters.
