Daniel Park, PhD, is the Leung School of Accounting (accounting, business analytics, and finance programs) department chair and a professor of finance with expertise in corporate finance, financial institutions, personal finance, financial analysis, and investments.

He has received many awards and honors, including the Rotary International Ambassadorial Scholar Award, the Korean Honor Scholarship in America, the Valedictorian Award, the Teaching Award, the Professor of the Year Award, the Scholarship Award, the Best Research Paper Awards, and the Student-Athlete Faculty Recognition Awards as a faculty member who “made a difference in the lives of student-athletes.”

Park has written articles for such publications as Journal of Corporate Finance, Annals of Financial Economics, Journal of Accounting and Finance, Advances in Financial Education, Review of Pacific Basin Financial Markets and Policies, and the Journal of Religion, Spirituality & Aging, among others.

He has presented his research at various national and international conferences such as FMA, FEA, CBFA, ABR, WEA, EFA, MFA, and AEA. Park has also served as a reviewer for textbooks and national academic conferences, and as an associate editor for academic journals.
