Eric Drewry, JD, PhD, teaches and conducts research in linguistics. He has published research on first- and second-language acquisition, focusing on the acquisition of syntactic structures. He enjoys leading students to “Aha!” moments, when they discover the marvels of their linguistic competence in their first language, whether in English, Spanish, or some other language.
