Praised for her “luminous strands of silver vocalism” (Parterre Box) and her “voice of both power and beauty” (OperaWire), American soprano Jessica Sandidge has performed internationally to high acclaim. Her recent performances include La Voix Humaine, a live performance that was later screened in North Hollywood. As Marie in Donizetti’s La Fille du Régiment with Sarasota Opera, Sandidge was praised by the Herald Tribune as having “a voice you could listen to all day as she negotiates florid coloratura with great ease.” Other credits include the role of Hanna Glawari in The Merry Widow with Musica Viva in Hong Kong. This season, she also sang the role of Eva Perón in the U.S. premiere of Corpus Evita by Carlos Franzetti, and reprised the role of Musetta (La Bohème) with Teatro Lirico d’Europa.
