Kyungmi Yoon Kim is a highly sought-after collaborative pianist known for her versatility across operatic, vocal, choral, and instrumental music. She graduated with honors from Dankook University, where she studied under Oksoo Han and gained early recognition by winning a concerto competition and performing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 at the Seoul Arts Center. Her experience includes serving as a staff accompanist for Seoul International Opera and the Suwon City Choir.

After immigrating to the United States with her family, Yoon Kim pursued further studies in piano performance and completed a master’s degree in collaborative piano. Her passion spans vocal music and instrumental chamber music, and she regularly mentors young musicians. Her festival and competition appearances include NATS, SYMF, ASTA, MTAC, and MTNA. Last summer, she participated as the coaching pianist for SongFest, an esteemed art song festival and training program.

Yoon Kim is currently a member of the coaching faculty at Azusa Pacific University, where she collaborates with vocal and instrumental students. Since 2008, she has been a staff pianist at Scripps College and frequently performs and coaches students at Pomona College. Additionally, she serves as the pianist for the Elders Choir of Southern California, Los Angeles Christian Singers (LACS), and Sarang Community Church in Anaheim.
