Assistant Professor School of Nursing

I started my teaching career after a caring professor in my nursing program asked me to become a Guest Lecturer for her class. I immediately fell in love with art of education and the deeply rooted faith of the faculty at Azusa Pacific University. Since that time, I have been teaching at APU Spring of 2014 and have never stopped since then! I previously worked as a Medical-Surgical Oncology Nurse at Kaiser Hospital. I currently work part-time as a Family Nurse Practitioner in Primary Care. I also have 3 daughters who I consider my best friends. I believe you will never look into the eyes of someone God does not love. We should guide all of our education with love, kindness, and compassion. APU is my home and it is an honor to be an educator and a nurse.
