Roberta "Bobbi" Alba, EdD, brings over 25 years of varied professional experiences to APU through her work in the PK-12 public school system. The majority of that time Alba spent as a counselor in a large urban school district serving at high need, low income schools. Alba's area of focus is assisting future school counselors to be the Christian professionals God created them to be. Her commitment to students is to move them forward on their journey to become the collaborators, advocates, systems change agents, and leaders that they were called to be. As she instructs the next generation of school counselors to love, listen, learn, and then lead their students to their future success, Alba relies on her life verse, Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me,” to guide her.
