Assistant Professor

Tasha Lowery, DNP, FNP-C, ENP-C, CPNP-AC, is an assistant professor in the Department of Graduate Nursing Programs. Lowery's academic and research passions lie at the intersection of pediatrics and emergency care. Her doctoral project examines whether a standardized tool based on assessing bruises can help inpatient nurses better detect non-accidental head trauma in children under four years of age. As a Navy veteran and Marine Corps spouse, professor Lowery has an interest in the issues of military families and veterans.
