Ronald Building, Room 130Azusa Pacific University’s Pre-Law Society is a student-run organization open to students of any major who are interested in the law or further legal studies. Society members may also join Phi Delta Phi, the international legal honor society, as a member of Azusa Pacific University Hall.
The Pre-Law Society aims to provide resources and information related to law school, and networking opportunities with peers who have a similar interest in law. The Department of History and Political Science faculty and Pre-Law Society advisor are also available to assist students with:
- Selecting undergraduate courses to help prepare for success in law school
- Preparing for the LSAT
- Understanding the law school application process
- Writing a personal statement
- Considering important factors when choosing a law school

Mission Statement
The Azusa Pacific University Pre-Law Society is dedicated to providing an intellectually stimulating and spiritually uplifting environment for legal-minded students to discuss matters of law, ethics, and faith. The society aims to assist students interested in pursuing legal education by providing information and resources related to law school admission and LSAT preparation, as well as networking and educational opportunities with individuals involved in the legal profession. The society will at all times maintain standards encouraging Biblical integrity, intellectual curiosity, and academic achievement.
Phi Delta Phi
Phi Delta Phi Phi Delta Phi©® organization, the International Legal Honor Society, is the oldest legal organization in continuous existence in the United States, predating even the American Bar Association. Phi Delta Phi celebrates academic excellence and embraces the finest attributes of professionalism and scholarship. Since its founding, Phi Delta Phi has emphasized to students and lawyers alike the importance of their calling.
Phi Delta Phi’s Pre-Law Society was established in 2012 to provide undergraduate students the opportunity to join Phi Delta Phi. The Pre-Law Society strives to develop students’ knowledge of law and help them make an informed decision about pursuing a legal career. Members are exposed to information regarding the LSAT, law school admissions, life as a law student, professional responsibility, and varying careers in the legal field. “Azusa Pacific University Hall” was chartered in March of 2014 as a member institution of the Pre-Law Society. Membership is open to undergraduate students who have an interest in the study of law and who meet the minimum qualifications.
