About the Chapter

The Iota Sigma Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International established its charter at Azusa Pacific University in 1988. It was preceded in 1980 by the Nursing Honor Society of Azusa Pacific College. The chapter includes approximately 800 members.

The Azusa Pacific University School of Nursing offers undergraduate and graduate programs, including credentials, certificates, and doctoral degrees. Azusa Pacific University is an evangelical Christian university committed to God First and excellence in higher education. APU offers 66 bachelor’s degrees, 40 master’s degrees, 32 certificates and credentials, and 9 doctoral programs to more than 6,500 students at the university’s main campus in Azusa, several regional locations across Southern California, and online.
