In the News: APU Students Compete on Wheel of Fortune

Two Azusa Pacific University students will appear on “Wheel of Fortune” as part of “College Week Spring Break,” airing April 5-9, 2021.
Razel Zapanta of Porter Ranch, Calif., will be a contestant on Monday, April 5. Zapanta is a senior biology major at Azusa Pacific University. She is involved in an acapella group, the National Society of Leadership and Success, and a pre-dental society group. Her dream is to one day become a singing dentist. “Becoming a ‘Wheel of Fortune’ contestant is a lifelong dream of mine,” said Zapanta. “I am so excited that I get to represent Azusa Pacific University during College Week Spring Break!”
Ruthie Bolton of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., will be a contestant Wednesday, April 7. Bolton is a freshman at APU, studying mathematics. She loves going to basketball games and is involved in the handbell choir. Bolton has been watching America’s Game® for years and plays against her father racing to solve the puzzles first. “I was shocked when I found out,” said Bolton. “I ran to tell my mom the news… We were so happy!”
