Traditional BSN Program
The traditional nursing major, the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, is a rigorous, four- to four-and-a-half year program for first-time, traditional undergraduate students who want to become a registered nurse but have no prior nursing education or experience.

BS in Nursing Transfer Program
For students with no nursing experience, but who have some college credit or a non-nursing bachelor’s degree, the BS in Nursing Transfer Program may be for you. To apply, students must have a minimum of 49 units of transferable prerequisite course requirements. The BS in Nursing Transfer Program is offered at three of APU’s regional campuses in Victorville, San Bernardino, and Monrovia.

Bridge to BSN
This program is only for students currently enrolled in an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) program at a community college. The Bridge to BSN allows students to get a jump start on their BSN prerequisites while enrolled in an ADN program. Students take prerequisites courses with APU during the summer, then upon completion of their ADN, transition into APU to complete their BSN degree.

RN to BSN
This accelerated program for registered nurses with a current RN license, whether working or not, prepares students with additional skills and knowledge to complete the BSN and advance their nursing careers. The RN to BSN program is also available online.

BS in Nursing LVN to BSN
This program is for licensed vocational nurses with a current LVN license at least 48 units of transferable credit who want to complete the BSN to advance their skills and knowledge in the profession.
