Program Details

A student who majors in mathematics has the option of obtaining a Bachelor of Arts (BA) or a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree. Both degrees have the same mathematics requirements, but the BS degree also requires a minor in chemistry, computer science, data science, or physics.

Students interested in either mathematics major may also wish to consider the statistics minor or the data science minor—students are permitted to earn one of these in addition to the mathematics major.
