Financial Aid

Azusa Pacific Seminary students may access a variety of financial aid opportunities to fund their studies. Below are some of the discounts and scholarships available to students in Azusa Pacific Seminary, and students are also encouraged to contact Graduate and Professional Student Financial Services for more information on scholarships, fellowships, grants, and loan assumptions.

Azusa Pacific Seminary offers an alumni tuition discount for APU alumni who will start in the following program:

Students must be in good academic standing and maintain satisfactory academic progress with a minimum cumulative grade-point average (GPA) of 3.0 (2.7 for the MDiv and MAPS programs). Students must be enrolled at least half-time. If qualifications are met, the discount may be renewed each term. APU will pay $500 per term (up to $2,000 over the course of the program). This discount cannot be combined with other institutional aid. Contact Student Financial Services for complete eligibility details.

Note: Award and eligibility are applicable for the 2022-23 academic year and apply to students admitted beginning fall 2020. The discount is subject to change.

This scholarship is awarded to students in the Korean master’s theology program.
This scholarship is awarded to Korean students who wish to provide pastoral leadership to Korean churches.
This scholarship is awarded to students in the Korean master’s theology program.

This scholarship is granted to students attending classes at the San Diego Regional Campus.
This scholarship is awarded to School of Theology students who are of Latin American descent and preparing for Christian service.
This scholarship offers $900 and is divided between two or three students, with varying amounts.
This scholarship is granted to students whose area of interest is biblical studies and who have a desire to minister in overseas or inner-city missions.
This scholarship is awarded to students in the Korean master’s theology program.
This scholarship is awarded to an outstanding Azusa Pacific Seminary student.
This scholarship is awarded to School of Theology students who have a calling and intent to minister to the Armenian community within the U.S. and internationally.
This scholarship is awarded to Korean students who wish to provide pastoral leadership to Korean churches.
This scholarship in honor of William Joseph Watson and Sic Way Wong benefits APU graduate students studying theology. In order to qualify for the scholarship, the applicant must be a single parent (due to divorce or death) with at least one child under the age of 18 OR the child of a single parent (due to divorce or death). This scholarship is awarded to students in the Korean master’s theology program.
This scholarship is awarded to students preparing for Korean ministry.
