Event Support

From chapels and commencement ceremonies to concerts and corporate events, Media Production will work with you to support your media needs including audio, lighting, video, and more. The Media Production team is committed to excellent customer service by providing the equipment and expertise needed for successful events at APU that reflect the university’s brand.

Submit a Media Request

Requests

To begin the process, use the Media Request Form so Media Production can determine the equipment you may need. Be as detailed as possible, and prior to completing this form, ensure that you have reserved your event location with Event Services. Media requests will be confirmed approximately two days after receipt. If you have any subsequent updates or questions, send them to the IT Support Center at support@apu.edu or Ext. 5050.

All media requests must be submitted by the following deadlines:

Events: 2 weeks
Video production: 2 weeks

Student Employment

APU has several positions in Media Production available to students. These opportunities are for qualified students seeking to develop their skills in the area of educational technology. To qualify, students must be enrolled at APU.

Work tasks include assisting faculty members, staff, and students in the various aspects of audiovisual equipment operation, event production, graphics and video production, small-event setup, and equipment maintenance.

For consideration, submit the following to the IT Support Center at support@apu.edu:

Résumé
At least one letter of recommendation from a professor or professional colleague
A statement outlining reasons for interest and long-term goals

Video Production

Video Production supports APU’s curricular and administrative needs through producing and editing broadcast-quality video. We offer on-location and in-studio video taping, recording of sporting events and chapel services, and more.
