Azusa Pacific University maintains academic policies and procedures in the university
catalog to ensure that students are informed of their rights and responsibilities.
APU’s academic catalog is posted in August for the following academic year. Each catalog
contains general academic and administrative information including all academic policies,
program information and descriptions of the courses of study offered. Visit catalog.apu.edu

FERPA
The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) is a federal law that protects
the privacy of student education records. The law applies to all schools that receive
funds under an applicable program of the U.S. Department of Education. FERPA affords
students certain privacy rights regarding their education records. Those rights and key definitions are summarized here; for more-detailed information about FERPA, visit ed.gov/ferpa/.
Questions about the student records privacy policy related to either undergraduate
students or graduate and professional students may be directed to the Student Services Center at (626) 815-2020 or ssc@apu.edu.
