Abraham Adhanom, PhD, joined the faculty at the School of Business and Management in August 2021. He comes to APU with more than 20 years of business and management teaching and mentoring experience at the doctoral, graduate (MBA), undergraduate, and community college levels at institutions including Concordia University-Irvine, UCLA, and Coastline Community College. His academic and consulting expertise includes project management, business process management, organizational change management, and business analytics. He is a certified project management professional, certified business management professional, and certified management coach. Prior to moving to the U.S., he directed projects sponsored by the Geneva, Switzerland-based Lutheran World Federation. His corporate consulting experience involves project management, business process management, and organizational change management at local and global organizations including Los Angeles County Office of Education, L.A. Care Health Plan, Kaiser Permanente, Wells Fargo, and Bank of America.
