Adam J. Morris, PhD, is an accomplished senior administrator in Christian higher education
with a deep love for the Lord, a genuine heart for students, and a high regard for
the transformative role of an engaged faculty. He excels at mobilizing staff around
a compelling vision, with specific gifting in the areas of strategic planning and
transformation and a rich history of securing significant external financial support
to advance the mission of an organization. Entrepreneurial, innovative, collaborative,
and discerning, Morris has more than 30 years of experience in Christian higher education.
Prior to his call to APU, Morris was executive vice president at Biola University.
Morris holds degrees in business and theology and earned a PhD at Talbot School of
Theology.
